The latest news flying about in the glamourous world of actresses and cricketers is rather shocking. Ileana, the Bengali belle from the blockbuster hit Barfiis making giant leaps in her career. She has been rumoured to being considered as the next heroine who will accompany ace cricketer ViratKohli in an Ad film. This most sought after actress of Bollywood in the present day, will soon be seen acting and maybe dancing (hopefully so looking at the other ad with Anushka) with the star batsman. In this tough industry of eat or be eaten Anushka has lost her chance to work with her ‘friend’ due to the fixed schedule of her career. She has a lot of upcoming projects, one of which is her own maiden production and hence could not take out time for a mere ad campaign. Way to go!
FILM OR AD FILM?
Earlier the media was abuzz with stories of Ileana and Virat acting together in a film. Now that would have been something to watch out but however it was soon clarified that it was not an actual film but an ad film that they will be working on. This happy coupling on-screen has been brought about by chance when Anushka Sharma who was the lead with the cricketer in a famous shampoo Ad could not allot dates for the shooting of the next feature due to her very very tight schedule.
Hence Ileana has grabbed the opportunity to act opposite the hottie of the cricketing world to endorse a particular brand of shampoo. Now isn’t that something? Ileana’s most recent release “Main Tera Hero”, which was the remake of “Kandireega” has turned out to a major hit which has increased her demand. Currently she is working on her next project “Happy Ending” starring opposite Saif Ali Khan.
A LONG STANDING AFFAIR COME TO AN END?
Just a few months ago the whole world was abuzz with the alleged affair of Anushka Sharma of Jab Tak Hai Jaan fame and the dashing opener ViratKohli of the sports world. Apparently the couple first met at the sets of the Ad Campaign of a shampoo for a shoot and sparks flew instantly. They have been said to be hooked since then although neither of them have ever announced the news officially. Now the news is that Ileana D’cruz has replaced the long-legged beauty for the same campaign. We are yet know Anushka’s reaction on this whole matter.
TURN OF EVENTS
Although Anushka was initially approached for the project along with boyfriend ViratKohli, she could not work out the dates for the shoot due to her busy schedule and hence was replaced by the Goan gorgeous Ileana.
Though they are coupled together for an ad film, however it would have been interesting to see how the dashing batsman fared in a movie. We do see a lot of him on the field, a few extra hours on the big screen wouldn’t have hurt a lot, would it?
