The Telugu latest news is on its toes as Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu, Venkatesh directed Drushyam and NTR’s Rabhasa are in the final stages of their post-production work and all of them would soon be released. Aagadu is all set to be released overseas under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment and is going to be distributed by AD Universal Cinemas. Rabhasa is all set to be distributed through Classics Entertainment banner. Suresh Productions will be releasing and handling the distributing work of Drushyam in India as well as the overseas. Several other great projects like Govindudu Andarivadele starring Ram Charan and Ravi Teja’s Power among others whose distribution rights and other information of crucial importance is yet to be announced. Soon after Manam raking in the moolah and enjoying the great earnings as well as receiving immense appreciation from all kinds of audience, Tollywood is now looking forward to having similar success in the upcoming movies as the ones mentioned above.
Release dates
“Drushyam” has been directed by Victory Venkatesh is nearing its judgement day i.e. it’s release and after a lot of work its post-production formalities are being done in full flow. The film is going to be a remake of the Malayalam super hit film ‘Drushyam’ and some slight changes have been made for the Telugu variant that is nearing release now. This movie is going to be a treat for all the venkatesh fans, also taking into account the kind of frenzy and fervour that is going on. The film is a family entertainment thriller and has a decent dosage of family feelings and clichéd values, a plethora of which Venkatesh is exceptionally good in enacting out on the big screens. He will be seen acting with Meena in the lead roles of the film, and this will be seen after quite a while. The film is, no doubt directed by Sri Priya and Suresh Babu is producing the film in collaboration with two other entertainment banners. The official date of release of the film has been finalised to be in July.
Future prospects
There are several speculations that ‘Drushyam’ might become a trendsetter. The first look of the trailer has been promising and therefore fans and followers are expecting a lot from the movie. Although the crew had hit some roadblocks in terms of the movie being censored by the censor board but then those problems were creased out soon after some editing of the scenes were done and the film was passed with a clean “U” from the much acclaimed censor board. Apart from this slight problem the film has had a smooth running and is expected to get some great reviews and make a truckload of money. If this happens then it would give the other upcoming releases that are in the pipeline. Now all that is left to do for everyone is go and watch the movie and enjoy the entertainer.
