Jewellery of Rudramadevi' gets stolen

The latest big loot Indian Film Industry, or to be précis the South Indian Film Industry has witnessed in recent times is the pilfer y of jewels of worth Rs. 5 Crores. All the jewels were of gold and were antique pieces. Reportedly Ravi Subramanian has bought these jewels for the actress of the film Anushka, from Chennai for a latest Telugu film. The original gold ornaments were specially designed by prominent designer Neeta Lulla for this periodic film to bring a realistic look of the characters. Anushka was suppository playing the title role in the Telugu film Rani Rudramadevi. Allu Arjun has been casted as Gona Gannareddy in this film. Other casts include Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Krishna Bhagavan, Venu Madhav etc. Legend Ilayaraja is composing music for the film. Producers and the other film makers have lodged a police complain and police has started their operation immediately. They have taken into custody a few people including Ravi Subramanian for further investigation.Jewellery of Rudramadevi' gets stolen

The antique gold jewels were About one and a half kilos and were stolen from the shooting spot itself. This has occurred at a place called Nanakramguda, close to Hyderabad. The entire film unit who claim to be completely unaware of the theft were surprised to observe such robbery. A complaint has been lodged at the Gachibowli police station. The gold jewels as told earlier were supposed to be worn by the actress Anushka while playing the role of Rani Rudramadevi in the film. Till now Police has taken three suspects under custody for interrogation.

 

Maker of the film Mr. Gunasekhar had planned to use real Gold jewellery instead of fake ones for the lead actors for a veritable look of the characters. This epic film is Gunasekhar’s dream project and in after Allu Arjun has joined the production team the shooting of the films was progressing with double energy. But now this shocking news is worrying the makers.

Actor Anushka’s part of jewellery is been reportedly stolen. It came as a sudden shock to the whole production unit as none of them claim to be have any clue of how this pilfer has happened on the sets.

 

Inspector Rajkumar of Gachibowli police station is the Investigating Officer of the case. According to him the antique jewellery was purchased from a jewellery shop in Chennai. It came in two boxes with a custodian Ravi S for the actors to wear during the shooting. The shooting was going on at the Ramanaidu Studio like every day and at the time of the lunch break, jewellery worth Rs 45 lakh (1.5 Kgs) were kept in vanity van by the custodian Ravi S. But then when the custodian went lunch and a quick nap, the boxes went missing. Some of the jewellery which went missing along with the gold jewellery were imitation and gilt jewellery. The process of investigation is on as said the Investigating Officer Inspector Rajkumar.

 

Till now there is no news of whether the shooting shall continue with imitation and gilt jewellery for the time being or the producers will purchase more gold ornaments going with the authenticity of the look of the film.
