Taapsee Pannu is all set to make her comeback with director Amit Roy’s rom-com Running shaadi.com. The movie was previously decided to be directed by Shoojit Sircar, but now is taken over by Amit Roy. She is paired opposite to Vicky Donor star Ayushman Khurana for this upcoming Bollywood venture. This movie was previously named as Hamara Bajaj which was later named as running shaadi.com. Taapse who made her Bollywood debut in the multi star cast film Chamshme Baddur in 2013 directed by David Dhawan got minimum scopes of featuring her talent in the film. This film Running shaadi.com is her solo lead and she is very happy with the kind of role she is been offered. According to her, she got a few lead role offers after Chashme Baddur but she was waiting for the right one. Taapse does not want to become one of the many faces of a film and aspires to be a solo lead actress. She has been trained in acting and dancing from renowned institution from India and abroad. She is much excited to work with actor Ayushman Khurana.
Ayushman and Taapse now only have a very friendly relation and are fond of each other’s work. Taapse admires his role in Vicky Donor and is looking forward to work with him. On the other side Ayushman too have spoken about their chemistry in the film. The movie is actually the love tale of a couple who runs a website and helps lovers to elope and get married. The film is set to be shot in different towns of Punjab and is aspired to be a small town entertainer. The entire script is based on comedy and light fun. The young couple Ayushman and Taapse have many love scenes in this movie. While Taapse is new to the industry, Ayushman is quite acquainted with the love scenes. The two share a good bond and is helping each other to break the ice in between while shooting the romance sequences. Ayushman has already proved his talent in his films and this is time for Taapse to do justice to the opportunity she has got. Amit Roy is directing his first film with running shaadi.com. Previously he has worked as a cinematographer with Ram Gopal Verma in Sarkar and Rohan Sippy in Dum maro Dum.
This film is a fresh new concept of love romance and comedy which is believed to be hit the theatres in middle of 2014. Taapse has even plans to work in Tamil-Telugu bilingual film opposite to a popular Tamil star. This is only what Taapse has revealed till not and is reluctant in going in any details.
