Geethanjali is an upcoming Telugu movie in the year 2014 itself. It is a blend of horror and comedy and is anticipated to be a complete different movie than the rest thrillers. The film is acquired by the very popular and premier entertainment distributor FICUS Inc. Although FICUS have had bagged other films earlier this is the first horror comic movie under its banner.
Geethanjali: Casts and performance
The script of “Geethanjali” is written by Kona Venkat, and he has also provided the screenplay and dialogues as well. This horror comedy Telugu movie is directed by the debutant Raj Kiran and has been produced by Mr. Satyanarayana on his own M.V.V cinema. The music of this film was scored by Praveen Lakkaraju and the film was presented by Kona Venkat himself. The first look of the movie was launched in the city Hyderabad by the chief guest V.V.Vinayak. The stage was also shared by the well known Telegu comedian Brahmanandan who was honored for completing his 30th year as a comedian in the film industry.
The writer and presenter of the film Kona Venkat has shared few words with the media which resembled his so far footsteps engraved in the tollywood industry as well as his expectations with this film. He has stepped in this industry almost more than a decade back and has written more than a dozen scripts, but this is a first horror comedy blend story written by him.

Geethanjali is ready to be the biggest hit in the Indian Cinema on 22nd August this year. The satellite right was bagged by “ZEE TELUGU” the popular Telegu channel so far. Debutant director Raj Kiran is going to hit the box office in the August end. Story writer Kona Venkat and his entire team is going to give an efficient performance too. Allu Sirish’s has done a wonderful job and has also given a mature performance than his debut film. He said that with this film he has made a big changes in his acting styles and there is a sense of maturity like other actors in the industry. According to the lead actress of Geethanjali, Regina Cassandra, this is her first film which is female oriented and she is obliged that the director and his team selected her for this role. She has a lot of expectations regarding her performance in the movie and this movie will surely fetch her with a good name in the tollywood industry. Though there are many female subjected films, this is going to be the first film for her as a subject.
Further, comedian Brahmanand shared with the media that this is not just a movie for him but a responsibility given by the director to entertain the audience and he has eventually done his part in the movie.
