Meenakshi Dixit, whom the audience missed for last two years, is all set to make a big comeback. Meenakshi was last seen in the film Devaraya in 2012). In her come back movie she will be seen in the lead role opposite to actor Arvind Krishna. The movie is called Adavi Kachina Vennela and is directed by Akki Vishwanath Reddy. Meenakshi who is more than thrilled to talk about her film says that her character is the element of surprise in the film. It has been created so beautifully and the entire story revolves around her. This movie has equal slot of roles for both the leads including Arvind and Meenakshi.
About her character in this film which is supposed to be a thriller Meenakshi reveals that, hr character is of a shooter who aspires to participate and win gold in the Olympic Games. But after all her efforts life suddenly makes an opposite decision for her and things changes abruptly. According to Meenakshi, the twists and turns of the film are identified with the ups and downs of her own life. And her personal experience and skills have helped her portraying the character and do justice to it. She had to undergo vigorous work out sessions to get the perfect look of the character which in no ways was easy for her.
Director and fight master Vishwanath has helped her a lot in her training sessions and have made her equipped with the action sequences. She being an athlete in her school days was aware of some of the stunts but had to devote a lot of time in learning the gun shots properly. Meenakshi reportedly did have no experience in holding a gun and learning the right move to handle it was quite a job for her.
Meenakshi, gels up well with her co-actor Arvind, and working with him has been smooth to her. They are well connected to each other and have a deep share of spirituality within each other. Arvind is a great co-star to work with as Meenakshi said and their spirituality immediately connected the two of them. A bunch of young people, the entire shooting is enjoyed by them like a picnic. When first approached for this movie, Meenakshi immediately liked the narration of the script and took no time to say yes to it. She has always been choosy about her films and only selects movies which she can do a justice to. Reportedly she has said in many an occasion that going for multi star cast commercial films has never been her taste or choice. Meenakshi has also plans for making her Bollywood debut with Kundan Shah’s film P Se PM Tak. She is excited for that project too. Revealing about the script she said, the movie is about a prostitute who one day will become the Prime Minister of the nation. It’s a character driven film and has a strong script. Mean while Adavi Kachina Vennela, which is produced as well as directed by A Viswanath under the banner of Moonlight Dreams will release on August 1.
