Vikram's debut in Tollywood was opposite Prabhas

About the Character:

Vikram Singh started his film carrier with Telugu cinema debut with Prabhas-starrer Rebel. Before starting the acting carrier he was busy with modelling work. In the film, he can be seen as trying to impress the leading lady Tamanaah. The reason behind impressing a girl is not love kind of thing, like in other films. Heroine is being chased to fulfil a gangster mission lead by his brother.

The character played by him as a romantic villain named ‘David’ and the film went super hit on Box Office. In the film, Vikram Singh was spotted as a stylish romantic villain and extravagant act. People were in all praised about David’s look and character and how he put on the face of a stylish villain in all action sequences. In the upcoming debut as rebel, he had done his own stunts and is adventurer at heart. About his personal bad character he says that he likes car races in dark nights.  Vikram's debut in Tollywood was opposite Prabhas

Early Moves:

Along with a stint in Bollywood, Vikram is making forays into Tollywood film industry also, but the difference is being seen in role. In Tollywood he started the debut as a villain. He is playing a lead role in a Hindi film Ya-Rab. The movie is directed by Mahendra Bhatt and the film is about the teachings of Quran. He has also played roles in B-town films like Trump Card and also was seen in Atma.

After this film he will next take on the might of Mahesh Babu in 1. He feels like the best way to his career. He always wanted to be like this, antagonist in South and a protagonist in North. He thinks that exhibiting a dark character is also a challenge in itself. There would be lots of powerful action sequences between Vikram and Mahesh Babu in the film. He says he enjoys doing a lot of action episodes and never contemplated working in Southern films.

About the Film REBEL:

Film was written and directed by Raghava Lawrence starred Prabhas, Tamannaah, Deeksha Seth, Krishnam Raju and Vikram Singh and was fashioned by J. Bhagwan and J. Pulla Rao under Sri Balaji Cine Media banner. Besides being a director for the film, Raghawa Lawrence was also choreographer and music director for the film. The film was a big hit and also remade into Bengali as “Hero: The Superstar.”

As we talk about the reviews for the film, it got a mixed reviews. Movie was stylish and visually rich but not much in content. The film was said as for masses. Anyways, for Vikram, it was his debut film in Tollywood he was excited about his first ever negative role and he got the reviews which he wanted for his role. His role was highly appreciated and also quite satisfactory for him made him decide to do such role in future in T-town films.

Young new talent is being found by directors and the talent is also worth for praise. Vikram is also one of them who is being seen in both B-Town and T-town doing his best in the films in his way.
