The thing about Remakes
It is the age of remakes and everyone knows it. Earlier Directors used to hide the fact but due to the recent upsurge in the number of remakes being made every year, it is more publicised than before. Bollywood is remaking movies from around the world and across the country. International movies are being remade in regional languages and regional movies are being remade in global languages and in the process there is an influx of cultures and ideas. The law has eased all kinds of bottlenecks of getting rights approved etc. The latest remake is that of a Tamil film which did quite well for itself. One more reason why directors choose t do remakes is that, lesser efforts are required, the script is already made, you have a feel of how the story would do and hence the risk involved will be lesser, but more times than not even this fails to generate profits as one can never predict audience taste. They keep changing on the basis of preferences, regions, cultures, moods, influences and backgrounds.
Current Teega
The latest remake as of yet that has caused some talks is Manchu Manoj’s Current Teega, which is essentially an upcoming pacy action entertainer that is said to be a remake of the very recent Tamil film ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’. The film features Sri Divya, Siva Karthikeyan and Sathyaraj in the star cast. Manoj is the superstar who has agreed to do the lead role and there is much anticipation among fans to see him perform in the big screen. And moreover it was him that confirmed all the rumours of the remake. Apparently actors down south are very vocal on Twitter and that’s how the news spread.

So now that Manchu Manoj has confirmed the news, who is in the movie? Jagapathi Babu will playing the role of Satyaraj in the film and Rakulpreet will be enacting the role of his daughter. The film is an action thriller entertainer and Director G Nageshwar Reddy of the banner Vishnu’s Denikaina Reddy has done justice by directing the movie, a number of essential changes were incorporated in this remake in order to suit Telugu audiences. Another important earner for the film could be Sunny Leone who has been roped to do a cameo in the movie which was originally done by Bindoo Madhavi in the parent movie. Current Teega will be produced by 24 Frames Factory and there are talks to release it on October 2.
Many fans and followers are awaiting the release to see how the movie fares but there is still some time to go before one can rest their excitement regarding the remake. The director is acclaimed and Sunny Leone is bound to increase the hotness quotient of the film and not to mention will bring with herself a long train of her loyal followers which will also be beneficial for the movie. All one can do know is wait and watch the movie when it is released. The stars do seem favorable as of now.
