South Indian superstar Mahesh Babu is not just a hero who performs your average stunts on screen and dances to the tunes of peppy numbers. He has proved the humanitarian side to his personality as well with his latest efforts and ventures. Some people with physical and bodily disabilities who were able to realize their different potentials and talents had the opportunity to meet this star recently. The superstar took time out of his extremely busy schedule to not only visit these wonderful people but alos to spend some quality time with them and make most of the occasion. The people were visibly happy after this event and the superstar brought some very valuable smiles to their faces.
The basic project
The event was organized as a campaign sponsored by Thumps Up known as the Thumps Up Being Human Veer. Through this campaign some people with different types of disabilities realized their different potentials and got to meet the superstar from the Telegu film industry, Mahesh Babu. The campaign had numerous projects under its wings. It has turned out to be a great success in most of its endeavors.
The different endeavors of the campaign
The campaign had a number of endeavors. It imparted training to more than a 1000 participants. The training was imparted by the American Indian Foundation or the AIF. They were also helped by implementation partners. It was done mainly during the first year of the campaign. Out of the 1000 that were trained around 573 people were employed with the help of around 147 employers from around the world. It is a very good rate and exceeds fifty percent of the people that were initially trained. The success has been widely acclaimed and recognized.
The next step
The season two of this particular campaign saw around 127 participants from the city of Hyderabad alone trained and employed well respectively. The campaign has achieved great success through its devotion to its cause as well as its devotion to helping out the disabled in this world. In fact, according to the organizers, despite various disabilities the participants had shown much zeal and commitment towards their work. It just shows that a bit of encouragement can go a long way to bringing pout the very best in every person. With proper training they have been placed in various fields of life that suit them and are working towards success in their own ways.
The aim of the campaign
The campaign aims at a number of things for its participants. These include skill training, development, inclusive education, employment, disabled-friendly technology and so on. It aims to make the world a better place for these people with slight disabilities. The next steps of the campaign also include vocational training to all participants. They try to make these participants job friendly and comfortable towards future job opportunities. They have given tireless efforts towards this cause. For a day they were aided by the superstar Mahesh Babu who came to boost confidences and motivate everyone.
