To those of you who are not aware, the word 'Talvar' is Hindi and it means sword in English. And what does a sword do? It digs deep into the hearts when used in battle. One such sword has dug deep into the hearts albeit not literally. This metaphor is being used for the latest Bollywood release Talvar.

The film is based on the infamous and painful murder case of Arushi Talwar and the accused happen to be her own parents. The movie has been helmed by Meghna Gulzar and reports from various collection centers reveal the audience is hugely impacted by the movie and it is getting a good response.

The icing on the cake is the stupendous performance by the droopy eyed talent Irrfan Khan and there is also a Tollywood link to this movie. The role of Arushi Talwar was essayed by Avika Gor who is currently riding high in Tollywood with the super success of her recent release Cinema Chupista Maava. Congrats to Talvar and team!
