Kumari 21F is an upcoming romantic film starring Uyyala Jampala fame Raj Tarun and Hebah Patel in lead roles. This marks the first production film from logical director Sukumar and DSP composed the tunes. Here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:

The album starts off with DSP’s trademark fun track Bang Bang Bangkok sung and penned by himself! The track is well equipped with riffs, rhythm section and gripping Rap section. This track will sure hit the charts as an ideal party song of the season! Ranina Reddy and Rita follow the lead vocalist DSP with great vigor and funkiness.

Meghalu Lekunna is a laid back unplugged number sung by Yazin Nazir who rocked the top song Charuseela in Srimanthudu earlier. The lyrics are penned by two brilliant lyricists Sree Mani and Anantha Sriram in great style and impact. The brilliant guitar strums and djembe styled rhythm patterns is another huge asset for this composition. The interludes are effectively woven with abrupt flute rendition and ideal violin section-which is signature DSP style!

It is time for extreme level of funkiness with Love Cheyala Voddha which describes the introspection of the hero about his lady love.  Newcomer Narendra does a commendable job through his vocals and Ramanjaneyulu’s lyrics describe the contemporary urban young girl in perfect terms.

A trance like party track Baby U Gonna Miss Me arrives with great thump next equipped with fantastic sequencing and trendy loops. Sagar renders this track with a tinge of sadness and at the same time doesn’t make it a slow listening. This track can be termed as a perfect breakup song which applies to the youngsters of this era!

Any DSP album would be incomplete without a fun filled item song and here it strikes in the finale with Breakup Patchup sung by M.M.Mansi. Chandrabose excels in the folk styled terms which are blended well with anglicized words. Usage of clarinet and harmonium in such a contrasting song is indeed a good experiment.

Verdict:
Kumari 21F is a youthful album high on energy levels. DSP delivers another winner for Sukumar yet again!

Rating: 3.25/5
