It is a common practice to show an upcoming release to your near and dear in the tinsel town and take a firsthand feedback. This happens a lot in the Telugu Film Industry and though the culture of premieres has become extinct, some private screenings keep happening in Prasad Labs, Ramanaidu Studios, and Annapurna Studios.

As part of that, there are reports about logic director Sukumar watching the movie ‘Officer’ featuring King Akkineni Nagarjuna. As such, Sukumar is a big fan of the eccentric Ram Gopal Varma and since it is the maverick director’s product, Suku took time out and watched it. Sources say Sukumar said he liked it.

It is heard that he has given a positive feedback from his close sources and how much he liked the film. Of course, officially Sukumar has not committed or commented anywhere about it but if this is indeed true it means ‘Officer’ could be the film that will give a new lease of life to RGV as a filmmaker. It is hitting the screens on June 1st.
