Surprise Hit Of The Year 2018 - RX 100

It takes a lot of courage to make films like RX 100. It made news right from the minute it was announced. Its posters were in headlines for the bold content it showed. Even the trailer was nothing less than a B Grade one. But the way the film attracted audience was crazy. So that is we call it the Surprise Hit of the Year.

Cast and performances:
The film has debutants Karthikeya and Payal Rajput in lead roles. Karthikeya was seen sporting a long hair and beard and in a cult role, he was just amazing. His performance was lauded by many. Even Payal Rajput, being a debutant, was glamorous and outstanding in her role. The negative shaded role she has played is something no actor would do in her debut.

Direction:
This film has Ajay Bhupathi, a student of Ram Gopal Varma as director. Even he is a debutant and it was something that surprised everyone. He made the film in a budget of Rs 2 crore and it made him more than what nobody has expected.

Technicalities:
Songs were composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj and background score was by Smaran. Cinematography by Ram Reddy and editing by Praveen is also a positive aspect for it.
