The clock is ticking for yet another movie from a promising hero to take the acid test at the box office. We are talking about ‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna and his new movie ‘Officer’ which has been helmed by the eccentric Ram Gopal Varma. The film is slated to hit the screens on June 1st and the pre release promotions are in full swing.
As part of that, a new song ‘Navve nuvvu…’ has come out and these are the reactions. While some are surprised to see an emotional track from an intense and radical RGV, some are appreciating the lyrics which convey the father-daughter bond in the right way. The vocals by Ramya Behara are also getting few brownie points.
Penned by the noted lyricist Sira Sri, the song shows Nag in a rather fresh looking avatar and the tune by Ravi Shankar is gaining some applause. Overall, the song has worked well and even the visuals have aptly conveyed the emotion. If RGV can come up with one or two more songs like this in this movie, it would be a good success.
