Agent Sai Srinivasa Atreya is the new Telugu film that is scheduled for a grand release on this Friday. Naveen Polishetty, the popular Youtube star is making his debut as an actor with the movie. Naveen will be seen as the solo hero in the role Atreya. The film is directed by a newcomer Swaroop Raj and a bunch of young actors is making their debut with this movie. Story:

Agent Sai Srinivas Atreya (Naveen Polishetty) works as a private criminal investigator in Nellore. As he doesn't have any cases, he just passes time and waits for an interesting case. But things turn upside down and he gets arrested in a suspicious case. He reaches Ongole and starts investigating the case. Later, he realizes that there is a connection between this case and another big case. What are these cases about? Will Athreya be able to solve the mystery? What happens in the end? Forms the crux of the story.

 

Performances:

Despite being a debut movie, Naveen Polishetty has delivered an excellent performance in this film. He went under the skin of the character and delivered an energetic performance in this film. Shruti Sharma breathes life into her character. By playing the role of an assistant to the hero, the actress delivered a cute performance and also her scenes with Naveen came out really well. Their chemistry can be considered as one of the plus points for this film. Suhas acted naturally and justified his role. Sandeep Raj gave his 100% in essaying the role and will impress with his character. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.

 

Technical Aspects:

Director Swaroop RSJ has not only picked an interesting story for the film but also succeed in lacing it up with a lot of comedy and entertainment. Instead of adding other unnecessary scenes, he concentrated more on the situational comedy and maintaining the suspense elements in an engaging way. Even his pace of narration is stable and is quite impressive. Production values by Rahul Yadav Nakka under Swadharm Entertainments banner are rich. Music by Mark K Robin is extraordinary. Especially his BGM in some scenes in the second half is astounding. Cinematographer Sunny Kurapati produced beautiful visuals for this film. Editing by Amit Tripathi is also clean and neat.

 

Review:

The movie has a strong story which can be considered as the major plus point for this film. The opening scene itself will grab the attention of the audience. The first half is somewhat boring with some unnecessary comedy scenes and slow-paced narration but on the other hand, the second half is extremely good. The story runs fast in the second half and the director has succeeded in engaging the audience. Despite having a few shortcomings, we can conclude that Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya is a must watch film.
