iQlikmovies Rating: 2.5/5

Story:
Based on the true story, Mosagallu revolves around the Indian call center scam that shook the world. Known as the greatest IT scam, the offenders managed to steal millions of dollars from the United States of America. Arjun (Vishnu) and Anu (Kajal) are the master minds behind it. How did they pull out a scam of such length is all the story revolves around.

Performances:
After a long time, Manchu Vishnu appeared on the silver screens and we can say that his energetic performance will be the biggest highlight of the film. The actor will impress the audience with his screen presence even in the action sequences as well.

Kajal Aggarwal will definitely impress the audience with her performance in the movie. Suniel Shetty's energetic performance also added more strength to the movie. Ruhi Singh's performance is too good.

Navdeep acted naturally in the movie. Naveen Chandra got a meaty role in this movie and the actor will definitely impress the audience with his captivating performance in the movie.

Technical Aspects:
Director Jeffrey Gee Chin will sure impress the audience with his narration. But the story does not have enough depth to keep the audiences hooked. Although the film is based on true incidents, it does not have enough stuff to keep the audiences engaged.

The production values by Manchu Vishnu under 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment are lavish. Music by Sam CS is just average. None of the songs will leave an impact. However, his background score elevated some crucial scenes in the film. At times, it is loud.

Cinematographer Sheldon Chau impressed with his background visuals and camera angles. Editing by Goutham Raju is clean.

Review:
The makers have promoted the film to be inspired by the World's Biggest I.T. scam. The real incident seems to be more intriguing than the movie. The screenplay is not that great and reminds us of many Hollywood movies.

Most of the twists in the film are quite predictable. Vishnu and Kajal carry the film on their shoulders. The rest of the cast did well but their performances were over-the-top in some scenes.

The background score was good. On the whole, Mosagallu looks like a wannabe Hollywood thriller without a soul in it.

Plus Points:
Performances
Camera Work

Minus Points:
Direction
Weak Narration
Screenplay

Final Verdict: A crime thriller that falls short of expectations
