iQlik Movies Rating: 2.5/5

Kiran Abbavaram has a habit of coming up with a new film every four months. He is now back with his new outing, Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha. It hit the screens today on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. Here is the review of it.

Story:
Vishnu (Kiran Abbavaram) is a librarian. Since childhood, he always helps people who are in need. On the other side, Darshana (Kashmira Paradesi) is a Youtuber. Vishnu and Darshana meet each other through the concept of phone number neighbours. Sharma (Murali Sharma) is Darshana's other number neighbour. How do the lives of these three people change once they meet and what are the troubles they face? To know the answers, you have to watch the film.

Performances:
Kiran is alright in the lead role. He became a familiar face but he needs to improve a lot as an actor. Especially, he needs to work hard on the emotional scenes. He doesn't give a remarkable performance but suits the role.

Kashmira is beautiful. She doesn't have anything to do in the film. But she shared good on-screen chemistry with Kiran. Murali Sharma is hilarious in his role. Rest others don't have anything significant to offer.

Technical Aspects:
Writer-director Mirali Kishor Abburu tries to mix various commercial elements in this movie. As a result, the film becomes a khichdi and fails to offer anything remarkable. Though the number neighbour concept is good, the writing makes the film sloppy.

Music by Chaitan Bharadwaj is okayish. Songs fail to create a mark. The background score is decent. Daniel Vishwas's cinematography is neat. The production values are good. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is apt.

Review:
Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha has an interesting premise and a good lead character. We get introduced to the lead actor with his back story. Thus, we get connected to that character right away. The first half is filled with a few entertaining elements. But the story doesn't move forward until the interval point. The intermission sequence is good.

The second half is all about the revelations. The twists and turns are okay. The climax is neatly done. But on the whole, the movie lacks the feel. Thus, you come out with an empty opinion after watching it. On the whole, Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is an average film which you can watch in theatres if you have nothing to do at home.

Plus Points:
Few Comedy Scenes
Few Twists
Climax

Minus Points:
Boring First Half
Illogical in many places
Inconsistent Narration

One-Line Review: This Vishnu Katha is strictly average
