After the stupendous success of Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali which released in various languages last Friday, everybody's focus shifted on which channel would bag the satellite rights of this film. Getting hold of satellite rights for such a brilliant film itself would be greatly advantageous to the channel in terms of TRP ratings and adverstisements. Now, an interesting update has come up about the same.

Sources say that Eenadu Television would be taking the rights of the first part in all probability. Initially, there was a combined bid of Rs 24 crores for the two parts of Baahubali which did not materalize for some unknown reasons. But now, it looks like ETV would be bagging the rights of Baahubali along with two other Sai Korrapati films such as Vinavayya Ramayya and Tungabhadra for a staggering amount of Rs 18 crores It is said that ETV has asked for a week's time to finalize this prestigious deal.

Rumors are spreading that Ramoji Rao, the owner of Eenadu group owns one of the shares in Baahubali and naturally, this satellite rights amount would be compensated for the profits!
