Remember the eternal classic Yama Leela which made its strong presence felt in the 90s decade? This film directed by SV Krishna Reddy had comedian Ali and Indraja in lead roles. Tanikella Bharani’s portrayal as Thota Ramudu became one of the biggest highlights of this film.
But here is an interesting trivia about the film. Apparently, the producer Atchi Reddy narrated the story to Superstar Krishna and the actor felt it was a really competitive script for his son Mahesh Babu who was quite young then. The actor said that Mahesh would be able to do it if they can wait for three more years!
Due to constraints, Atchi Reddy couldn’t delay the film and made it with Ali as hero. In this manner, Mahesh missed out a golden superhit chance at a young age. However, he rocked the Box Office with youthful debut Rajakumarudu in the year 1999!
