Kalyani Priyadarshan is pretty and promising in the film and has shown improvement when compared to the previous film 'Hello'. Nivetha Pethuraj is looking stunning in the movie.
Sunil is very impressive in his role. Vennela Kishore will definitely evoke good laughs in the theatres. Posani Krishna Murali did a convincing job in his role. Brahmaji and V Jayaprakash also delivered decent performances. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.
Director Kishore Tirumala is well known for his interesting scripts. He not only picks up a beautiful love story but also laces it with more amount of entertainment which is one of his unique qualities and he did the same with 'Chitralahari' movie as well. Mythri Movie Makers are known for their best quality output and 'Chitralahari' is not an exception. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is back into the form. Not only with the songs, but even his engaging BGM will also grab the attention of the audience. The camera angles of Cinematographer Karthik Ghattamaneni are really good. Editing by A Sreekar Prasad is neat.
The movie starts off an interesting note and the entire first half is fun filled with a lot of entertainment and romance. Love track between Sai Dharam Tej and Kalyani Priyadarshan is showcased in a beautiful way. The interval bang is just average. The second half will be serious and emotional. Though some of the scenes are heart touching, the emotional dosage is high in the film. When compared to the first half, the pace of narration gets extremely slow in the second half.
However, the climax is handled well. To conclude, 'Chitralahari' is an entertaining film and can be watched once.
Slow Narration in Second Half
