Vijay (Sai Dharam Tej) is the most unlucky guy in the world who has been waiting to gain success in his life. He is an engineering graduate and designs an app regarding accident control and tries to approach so many companies. But because of his bad luck, he gets rejected every time. Vexed with his trials, he joins in a small TV shop. One day, he falls in love with Lahari (Kalyani Priyadarshan) and considers her as the only ray of hope in his life. But everything changes with the entry of Nivetha Pethuraj. Not only his love, but Vijay loses hope on life as well. Did Vijay succeed in his life? What happened to his love story? forms the rest of the story.

Sai Dharam Tej has done an entirely different role in this film and has given his best performance. Despite getting a challenging role, Tej has effortlessly pulled it off. Kalyani Priyadarshan is pretty and promising in the film and has shown improvement when compared to the previous film 'Hello'. Nivetha Pethuraj is looking stunning in the movie.

Sunil is very impressive in his role. Vennela Kishore will definitely evoke good laughs in the theatres. Posani Krishna Murali did a convincing job in his role. Brahmaji and V Jayaprakash also delivered decent performances. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:

Director Kishore Tirumala is well known for his interesting scripts. He not only picks up a beautiful love story but also laces it with more amount of entertainment which is one of his unique qualities and he did the same with 'Chitralahari' movie as well. Showcasing the hero in an extremely different kind of role, the director has not only created prepared an entertaining story but also narrated the story in a captivating way.

Mythri Movie Makers are known for their best quality output and 'Chitralahari' is not an exception. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is back into the form. Not only with the songs, but even his engaging BGM will also grab the attention of the audience. The camera angles of Cinematographer Karthik Ghattamaneni are really good. Editing by A Sreekar Prasad is neat.

The movie starts off an interesting note and the entire first half is fun filled with a lot of entertainment and romance. Love track between Sai Dharam Tej and Kalyani Priyadarshan is showcased in a beautiful way. The interval bang is just average. The second half will be serious and emotional. Though some of the scenes are heart touching, the emotional dosage is high in the film. When compared to the first half, the pace of narration gets extremely slow in the second half.

However, the climax is handled well. To conclude, 'Chitralahari' is an entertaining film and can be watched once.
