The much-awaited KGF Chapter: 2 is here. This Prashanth Neel directorial has hit the screens across the world today. Starring Yash in the lead role, KGF 2 is a sequel to the 2018 film KGF. Here is the review of it.

Story:
KGF Chapter 2 starts exactly where chapter one has ended. After killing Garuda, Rocky (Yash) takes over the kingdom of KGF. This move doesn't go well with the other partners and they plan to kill him. On the flip side, Adheera (Sanjay Dutt) and Prime Minister Ramika Sen (Raveena Tandon) also try to take down Rocky. How did Rocky deal with his enemies? What happened to him in the end? To know these answers, you have to watch the film.

Performances:
Just like part one, Yash carried even KGF 2 completely on his shoulders. He is the soul of the film. He has gotten a perfect action hero charisma and he pulls off his character with incredible persona.

Prakash Raj shines in his role as a narrator. Raveena Tandon stands out as the Prime Minister. Sanjay Dutt looks menacing but his character is flat. Srinidhi Shetty was decent in her limited but crucial role. Rest others did their best.

Technical Departments:
Director Prashanth Neel has a complete grip over his craft. He knows exactly what he is doing in each scene. His control over writing makes KGF 2 an entertaining watch right from the beginning to the end.

Music by Ravi Basrur is another asset of this movie. He carried a few background score bits from the first parts and those portions are whistle-worthy. Cinematography and Editing complemented the mood of the story well. The production values are bigger than that of the first part.

Analysis:
Prashanth Neel is such a director who knows how to make a hero-centric film. KGF is all about Rocky and the viewers will fall in love with him even though he is an anti-hero. The director filled the whole film with elevation scenes.

All those scenes will make audiences go crazy in the theatres. The first half falls flat a bit but the second half is an adrenaline ride. On the whole, KGF 2 is bigger and better than its predecessor. Go Watch in Theatres.

Plus Points:
Yash
Background Score
Elevation Scenes
Action Sequences

Minus Points:
Marriage track
Few scenes are over the top and loud

One Line Verdict: Mass Masala stuff
