Next was Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha. It was debut film of Mehreen Pirzada. Mehreen Pirzada rocked her film career with this film. She also got a great chance to act in Bollywood. The film was too a big hit. It earned a profit of $ 772,084,000. Next talk about Gentleman starring Nani which earned a profit of $ 907,072, 00. It has always been seen that regional films are always praised in US market and other markets worldwide. Out of 76 movies about 17 movies became a great hit in US. It will be very nice to know that Ram Charan Tej got a great break in USA due to Dhruva. His remarkable performance in the film helped him to earn a position in Forbes. In fact Ram Charan got a great exposure too. Like Ram Charan there are many actors who get a exposure if their films become hit.

If we talk about the US review of Telegu movies we will find that the result is also a mixed one. In another word it can be said that year was not so good in terms of business. The biggest and super hit Telegu film in 2016 was Nithiin which was directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The romantic music entertainer Nithiin earned a great fame in US. One thing is very clear that in US regional films are very much in demand. People watch these movies with great enthusiasm. The evergreen actor of Telegu film industry is Nagarjuna. His film Oopiri ,Sogade Chinni Nayana was a great hit of 2016. He as a hero was also praised in this film. It earned about 1.57$ (M) and 0.84$(M) respectively.
Flops in the year 2016:
Besides hit list there are also some actors and films who experienced bad times. For example Sai Dharam Tej had a very bad year. There were total flop films. His films like Supreme , Thikka did a bad market. It didn’t earn any profit. If we compare with Selfie Raja and Eedu Gold Ehe who earned about $48 dollars and $64 dollars respectively, their performance was very poor. Express Raja which was casted by young and dashing hero Sharwanand was a great hit too. In fact there are also many dubbed Telugu films which also become a great hit in US. They earn huge fame abroad. Every year there are many films of other languages which are dubbed in Telugu language. Do you know about Nani? Nani the natural star also got a great break in 2016. His film Gentlemen was also a big hit. It earned a profit of $ 900K. Nani is a very well known Telugu actor.
US- A potential market for Telugu films:
However it has been found that North America has become a very good market for Telugu films. People in this country love to watch Telugu films. There are many Telugu filmmakers who have become successful or proved themselves successful in exploring international market. In recent times their films are widely accepted in this market. As a result they have earned huge profits. Thus following them there are many other directors and producers who are trying to get a exposure in this market. This year was probably bad for Prabhas, Rana and AKHIL. They didn’t have any such films that would earn profit and hit US box office. Although Prabhas is quite a good actor but it was a bad year for him. Let’ s hope that Telugu films be always praised in US.
