Story Line:

Chinna Babu is a family story. Rudraraju (Sathyaraj) is a man who has five daughters. He feels that if he had a son, he would take care of his big family well. Chinna Babu is born after Rudraraju marries another lady. Chinna Babu and family share a very strong bond.

Chinna Babu falls for Leela (Sayyeshaa), which creates drifts in their family. What happens next is to be watched in theaters only.

Roles and Performances:

Karthi and his energy are just superb. His attire, body language compliment to the role he has done. Sayyeshaa looks very fresh and interesting. She carries that native appeal. Satyaraj is apt for the role of the father. Other actors have done well too.

Analysis:

A joint family, relationships, petty fights among the members of the family is what Chinna Babu is all about. But, the whole story narration is unique and comedy addition is what makes Chinna Babu different.

The situations in a large family are portrayed so well. With five sisters, their families and children around, how the environment turns to be beautiful is shown in this movie. The situations are portrayed in a way that everyone can easily connect to. Relatives, family, and things that come along are shown well. Comedy is well-placed.

The second half has a little 'too much' sentiment for the Telugu audience. Songs are not in the sync, as the dubbing mismatches. The action dosage has increased a little.

Technical Aspects:

Village ambiance, the people who live in the villages and their way of living is portrayed well. The camera capture is good. The sentiment is written well. Songs don't go along with the Telugu dubbing version. Editing could have been better.

Plus Points:

+ Emotions
+ Comedy
+ Karthi's Action

Minus Points:

- Routine Story
- Nativity Mismatch

Final Verdict: Once watchable.
