Rakul Preet Singh is going places and it is AR Murugadoss who helped her begin her journey. Spotting her in a commercial, the ace director wanted her to act in his film Thuppaki, which was an immediate blockbuster. However, Rakul shunned away from acting and focused on studies as she looked forward to complete her college. Rakul was also a participant in the Femina Miss India Beauty pageant and eventually she approached Murugadoss to work with him again. However, it was only in 2016 she got her chance opposite to none other than Mahesh Babu, starring in a spy film called Spyder which will get a multilingual release.

Murugadoss also remembered the story suddenly and in a light conversation recently, the past incident again resurfaced, much to the surprise of both. Both Rakul and Murugadoss expressed how it all happened like it was in destiny of the two to work together. In fact, she also recounts that it is not just Murugadoss but also Mahesh Babu who was supposed to be a part of the films she was doing but she ended up not doing them.
A perfect trio
Rakul, expressing her desire to work with such brilliant artists, has expressed that this is the perfect triumvirate and the film should do well after the holy trinity has finally come together. While Rakul is not short of films, Spyder holds special value for her for all these happy coincidences and she wants the film to do well. Already, her earlier film where she stars opposite to Naga Chaitanya is doing really well in the box office with her role being particularly praised. So, with Spyder, she can surely claim her rightful place in the industry as among the top heroines working currently. Rakul is surely dazzling everyone with her simple looks, it seems.
