Jayaprakash Reddy who new movie Lachhimdeviki O Lekkundi is releasing this Friday was found in an upset mood.  

 

Narayana’s career and legacy
legendary comedian and supporting actor of the Telugu film industry MS Narayana breathed on 23rd January, 2015. His death was caused by multiple organ failure. Comedian and actor Jayaprakash Reddy turned emotional and was all teary eyed while talking about his former colleague.

MS Narayana joined the Telugu film industry relatively late, at the age of forty six. He kicked off his career in 1996-97 with films like Pedarayudu and Maa Nannaki Pelli for which he won the Nandi award for the best male comedian. He then went on to act in around seven hundred films throughout his career. Some of his most notable works include Dookudu, Ready, Sivamani, Sardukupodaam Randi, Ramsakkanodu, Anadarivaadu, Baadshah, Daruvu, Aagadu, Pataas and Samrasimha Reddy, where he worked alongside Jayaprakash Reddy. Besides for Maa Nannaki Pelli, he won the Nandi award for best male comedian for quite a few other films like Ramsakkanodu, Sardukupodaam Randi, Dookudu, and Sivamani. He also won the Cinemaa award for best actor (Jury) and the highly esteemed Filmfare Award for best supporting actor in Telugu films for his role in Dookudu. Narayana had also appealed to the Guinness Book of world records as he had acted in over 700 films in seventeen years. The same feat had been achieved by another Telugu comedian Brahmanandan but in twenty years. He first talked of this record while promoting Saheba Subramanyam, a film that starred Dileep Kumar and Priyal Gor. Many of his friends in the Telugu film industry supported his claim and appealed to the Guinness Book of world records along with him. He was also a lecturer and director and was loved by all is colleagues.

Death and reaction from colleagues and fellow actors
Many stars of the Telugu film industry were grief stricken and shocked at his death. Superstar actors like Mahesh Babu was particularly sentimental and also shed a few tears when the news came out.
Jayaprakash Reddy himself was a comedian of high repute though he has also acted in quite a few films as a villain or in a negative role.
