Trisha left with almost no good films. She has handful of Tollywood projects.
The career of a heroine is as fickle as the tides of a river. It can go beyond the stars in terms of fame and suddenly, it can all come crushing down like you have never dreamt of it. Trisha, who was once claiming to be the most sought-after figure in Tollywood, is suddenly left with almost no good films. Nayaki, the film she last featured in, did terrible business and nobody even knew it was around. Even working with big names such as Ajith is not helping either since Yennai Arindhaal was a big flop in the box office. Same goes for her work with Kamal Hassan in Cheekati Rajyam. In short, failures are frequenting in her career, accelerating it towards an untimely end. However, her fading out has not occurred totally as of now. Kodi, her upcoming film with none other than Dhanush, has kept the hope alive for Trisha to make a comeback.
The film’s possibility
The film Kodi may not be enough. It is because while there is Dhanush, there is also Anupama in the second lead. Since Anupama is getting some deserved name and fame currently, there is high chance that she may steal the show with Trisha being left with nothing. Moreover, since it is a dubbed film, Trisha should not expect a complete comeback. If the film runs, then her career is temporarily saved. But a complete revival is only possible if she manages to land a film with a big name and a big budget.
A ray of hope
However, not all is over for Trisha it seems. A potentially big film may well be on the cards as Trisha’s mother confirmed that the actress has been approached for a film. The film will be a remake, of course, considering the current trend in Tollywood. It is most likely to replicate NH 10; the Anushka Sharma starrer hit film from Bollywood. The remake fever in Tollywood may well be a boon for Trisha since it opens up a possible avenue for her to make an impact once again.
Other possible projects
Trisha has another role opposite to Arvind Swamy. While Swamy is a veteran in the field, his experience may well come to the aid of the struggling actress. The film in question is Sathuranga Vettai, a sequel of the scam film that already was a success in 2014. She has to make the most of it. Since the first part was a success, Trisha may bank upon this film to produce the same spark. Trisha herself is silent as of now since success has eluded her for some time. However, it is a matter of time before she announces herself once again.
