The director of the film, Yakub Ali, who is a professional dentist, has been overwhelmed by the hearty wish of the actor. Ali, who hails from Hyderabad, feels very much obliged by what the reactions of Nani has been. This greeting of the actor has almost instantly brought Yakub Ali into fame.

Ali’s venture on making Ila Naa Jathaga
After his degree in dentistry, Ali had wanted to follow his dreams, which took him to enrol himself in a film school in Hyderabad itself. This pursued, Ali then went off to start shooting his own independent film. Ali never wanted to work under any other director as an apprentice or assistant from the very beginning. He says that he had the story of the film right from the time he was pursuing his degree in film making. He was quite sure that this story would be turned down by producers, as it was nothing of a very spicy plot, embedded with comedy that producers want to sponsor. This urged him to make his move and started this film on his own. On 2013, the film’s shooting started.
The never compromise attitude of the filmmaker
Ali still continues to serve people as a dentist even while he is so busy making films nowadays. The dentist-turned-director states that this busy schedule has enhanced his activeness. The director seems to love this first brainchild of his immensely. This makes him talk of Ila Naa Jathaga with affection, that too without any tiredness. He vows never to compromise in terms of quality of his movies and is ready to leave no stone unturned, which is necessary to achieve a task. Director Ali states that his friends from the film school, which had been beneficial to him in getting his degree, had been extremely helpful with the cinematography, while he did the editing of the film himself. The progress of the project was very slow, according to the filmmaker, as the situation demanded the occurrence of a lot of incidents at the same time, which had to be taken care of, without marring the quality.
