Ram Charan is the darling of South Indian cinema and hence, whenever he signs for a film, there is a buzz about whom he will romance. While Ram Charan has picked up an excellent script decided by his father Chiranjeevi, his heroine was not decided at that point. Sukumar, the director of the film was skeptical about the choice of heroine.
The initial thought
Since every director thinks about some heroine and writes the script, Anupama Parameswaran was the first
one that flashed across Sukumar’s mind. However, the pair soon broke up since Anupama did not want to be a part of the project. This created a vacuum and a lot of interest since people did not know what was happening in terms of heroine selection.
The tie between two
Then, two people were decided to cast opposite Ram Charan for the coming film and these two were Samantha and Rakul. Both were hot favorites to get into the film and hence, there was such speculation. However, Samantha has got the nod ahead and the team has already started talking to her. Hence, Samantha will be possibly the choice ahead of Rakul.
Why not Rakul?
Given that Rakul is immensely successful nowadays, her name being abruptly dropped has created a buzz. People are coming up with theories that Charan has paired up with her in the last two films and surely he wants to try out his chemistry with someone else. However, there are other stories.
Rumors flying around
Rumor has it that Ram Charan is getting pretty close to Rakul and he probably would not want Rakul as his onscreen partner anymore. Kajal has been thought of too, but her recent casting against Chiranjeevi has reduce her chances. So, it is Samantha all the way and an official confirmation is only days away.
