The main event
Tollywood superstar Rana Daggubati received most of the attention and limelight at one of the top events of the fashion industry in Hyderabad. Many highly reputed personalities in Hyderabad from different spheres attended the event but Rana was the main point of focus from the crowd and as well as the media. Rana had previously bulked up his physique for a role in a film, however he look surprisingly lean at the event and donned a pair of jeans and a simple shirt.
The event was the launch of Tony and Guy’s first salon in Hyderabad. The salon is located at Indranagar, next to the Pizza Hut outlet in Gachibowli. Rana Daggubati was there to inaugurate the salon. Many well known fashion models attended the event as well and exhibited a wide range of vibrant hair colours and trendy hair styles and cuts and added to the glamour of the event. Rana talked about how beauty salons and spas are an integral part of anyone’s lifestyle and how they play an important role in making us look more glamorous and help us in making a better style statement.
Facilities available at the salon
Mr. Sam Paul who is the Master Franchise of Tony and Guy stated that the salon would be offering services like haircuts, perming, hair colouring, straightening, foot spas, body massages, scrubs, bridal services, body polish, reflexology, skin care services, pamper packages, foot reflexology, facials, under eye treatment, head acupressure and many more.
Shaik Noor Mohammed who is the franchise partner of Tony and Guy said that it is a ‘brand of the young’ and it is great to see its start its journey in Hyderabad. The sleek looking salon is located on a property in Gachibowli and has eight hair cutting stations, of which two are exclusively reserved for women. It also has two separate stations for back wash. There are two stations that will be used for both pedicure and manicure purposes. The salon also boasts of a bridal room, one facial room and it has a room for VIPs as well. A little about Tony and Guy
Tony and Guy’s hair cutting style is greatly influenced by the traditions and heritage of the Mascolo family. The four brothers of the family were taught the art of hair cutting by their father. Once they moved to London, the youngest brother Anthony discovered the most English hairdressers have a distinct style of hair cutting based on precision. Anthony Mascolo combined the precision of British style hair dressing with the flair of the Italian hair dressing traditions to deliver high quality haircuts that not only far exceeded the services of other hair dressing salons of their time but also introduced haircuts that were personalized.
Rana Daggubati is known for his work as a photographer and visual effects coordinator besides his acting. He is well known in both the Telugu and Hindi film industries and recently played the role of Bhallala Deva in blockbuster hit Baahubali.
