The upcoming thriller which is uniquely named as 118 starring kalyan Ram has completed its censor formalities and is all set to be released to the public.

The movie 118 is expected to be a romantic action thriller. Starring in the movie alongside Kalyan Ram will be actresses Nivetha Thomas and Shalini Pandey. The direction is being done by the Cameraman turning director KV Guhan.The movie is produced by Mahesh Koneru. The soundtrack of the movie is done by Shekhar Chandra. The producer / Director Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights for the movie 118 in both the Telugu states.
In an interview, the hero of the movie 118 Kalyan Ram had revealed that the movie has been made inspired by a real-life incident that happened in the life of the director of the movie KV Guhan. The theatrical trailer of the movie which was released earlier gives a glimpse of the storyline of the movie. The story rotates around the event of death of a young lady played by Nivetha Thomas. Kalyan Ram who plays an investigative journalist then goes on to solve the mystery of the death is what the movie portrays.
The launch of the movie was done a while ago with several of the big shots of the industry being invited. The launch was done by the popular actor and Kalyan Ram’s brother Jr NTR. The first look poster was released on Kalyan Ram’s birthday.
The pre-release event of the movie which was held at Hyderabad saw the actors Balakrishna and Jr NTR as the chief guests. The event was held on 25 February at the JRC convention center Hyderabad. The Shreyas Group was managing the function. They had even organised a contest online for people to win passes for the pre-release event. They had brought out few questions for the public to answer to win the passes to the event.
Film Clears the Censor Formalities:
The movie 118 had cleared the censor formalities and is all set for its grand release. The Central Board of Film certification cleared the movie for theatrical release and provided it a U/A certificate. The movie makers have now started working on the promotion of the film in full force.
The movie has already garnered very positive response from the fans. The movie which is expected to be as unique and mysterious as its name will be a much-awaited movie. The promotions of the film are currently going on and with the long weekend coming up in the beginning of march the movie is surely going to get a great response at the box office.
The movie is going to be released on March 1. It is to be seen how is keeps up with the expectations.
