The shooting of the awaited movie ‘Majili’ has been wrapped up and the movie is all set to make its grand release.
Majili – The movie
MAjili is a romantic entertainer which will come with an emotional quotient. The movie is shot in the locations in Vizag. The movie stars the real-life couple Akinneni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. Divyanshika Kaushik also plays the second female lead role in the movie. Naga chaithanya will be seen playing two roles which are of a young cricketer and a middle-aged man. This is the first film of Naga chaithanya and Samantha after their wedding. The direction of the movie has been done by Shiva Nirvana. The music of the movie has been done by Gopi Sunder. Other actors who are playing major roles in the movie include Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali and Subbaraju.

The lead players of the team took to social media to announce the completion of the shoot of the movie. Naga Chaithanya took to twitter to write about how he had the best time working with the team and he tweeted that it was one of the smoothest productions he had worked with. He also thanked Shiva Nirvana for telling this story through him.
Samantha also tweeted that it was a wonderful experience working with such beautiful people.
The first look posters of the movie and the teaser had generated a huge response from the viewers. The real-life couple playing the reel life couple had shared intense chemistry in the teaser of the movie. Divyansha Kaushik will be portraying the role of Chaithanya’s love interest in the movie. The last day of the shoot was on 21 feb. The post production activities of the movie are already underway. The director Shiva Nirvana who rose to fame with ‘Ninnu Kori’ has penned the story and the dialogues of the movie along with doing its direction. Samantha and Naga Chaithanya had previously worked together in the movies Ye Maaya Chasave , Manam and Autonagar Surya.
Pre-Release events of the movie
The first look of the movie which was released on 30 december 2018 displayed Naga chaithanya in a Bearded look and Samantha, with both of them holding each other. The second look showed Naga Chaitanya as a clean shaved young cricketer with Divyansha Kaushik by his side. Being a romantic movie what better time to release the teaser of the movie than on Valentine’s day.
The movie has already raised curiosity in the minds of the audience and it is to be seen how the movie will fare. The movie does have some expectations to fulfil.
The movie will be released worldwide on 5 april 2019.
