Baahubali star attracts millions of fans on social media
Baahubali became one of the highest grossing films in the history of Indian cinema in 2015 and Prabhas became a superstar overnight. As Baahubali was dubbed into multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Prabhas’s fame spread like wildfire all over the country and he has achieved the status of a national star. Prabhas has a huge fan base on various online forums and social communicating websites. Such is people’s fascination with the star that whatever he posts automatically gets a huge number of likes and the comments section is flooded as his fan desperately wait for the most minor of updates from him on his page for a long time. Journey of a star from Eeswar to Baahubali
Prabhas is largely known for his works exclusively as a Telugu actor. His uncle is the renowned, veteran Telugu actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju. Even before Baahubali Prabhas was one of the most popular film stars down south along with Mahesh Babu, and NTR junior and has performed impressively in many films like Mirchi, Varsham, Chhatrapati, Chakram, Munna, Billa, Ek Niranjan, Rebel, Mr Perfect etc since his debut way back in 2002 in the film Eeshwar. He had formed a partnership with S.S. Rajamouli in Chhatrapati eleven years ago. In a role which was praised for its unique charm, bravado and macho attitude, Prabhas impressed fans and critics alike with his performance as a refugee who was exploited by the goons. The film went on to become a huge hit and ran for one hundred days in more than fifty theaters. Thus, it was not surprising that Rajamouli again chose him to the play the part of the protagonist in his epic series Baahubali. While Prabhas has acted in many action movies like Bujjigadu, Munna and Rebel, he has also been impressive and have done roles in various romantic comedies like Darling, Mr. Perfect etc
