Rana puts end to rumors

After rumors had started flying left and right, Rana Daggubati who plays the role of  Bhallaladeva, the chief antagonist in the historical war drama Baahubali spoke about the role of Bhallaladeva’s wife in the film. After the son of Bhallaladeva was introduced in the first film ‘Baahubali : The Beginning’, many fans and enthusiasts predicted that it must have meant that Bhallaladeva has a wife too. However, the actor put an end to all such rumors stating that the king of Mahishmati has no time for romancing any actresses as there is hardly any scope of a love story for the character and he is primarily concerned about his throne and nothing else.

No place for Bhallaladeva’s wife in the story
Recently rumors started flying that actress Shriya Saran was set to take actress Lavanya Tripathi’s role in the second installment of the film. These rumors surprised both the actresses and they both have clarified that they have no idea about any such prospects and neither of them are playing any role in Baahubali : The Conclusion and that the makers of the film had not approached them. When Rana Daggubati was asked about the rumors, he said that if there is any such addition in the storyline and a new actor really joins the film cast, it would be openly announced as there is nothing to hide from the media and everyone would come to know eventually in any case. He added that as of now there is no one playing his wife in the film as she has no contribution or part in the core storyline.
A meaner and more evil avatar for Rana
The first installment ‘Baahubali : The Beginning’ ended with Bhallaladeva ascending the throne of Mahishmati, where the story is set and the death of Baahubali. However, why and how he was murdered is still a mystery and fans worldwide are awaiting the release of the second installment where the mystery would be not only cleared but Baahubali would be avenged by his son Shiva as well. In his interaction with the media, Rana Daggubati stated that Bhallaladeva would be a lot meaner and more evil in the second film that he was in the first installment. He refused to divulge anything more and said the fans and critics should wait for the release of the movie to find out more about Bhallaladeva’s story and what he does in the film.
